| Spain |
| Widely known for Flamenco music and dance, bull-fights, fantastic beaches and lots of sunshine, Spain has to offer much more than that. It is - and has been for thousands of years - one of the cultural centres of Europe. It has beautiful cities and towns, offering old monuments as well as futuristic architecture. Its various regions are all different to each other, geographically, climatically and even in personality. It is a fascinating country to know and to learn more about.

| Spain - Costa de Almeria |
| In south Spain, the Costa de Almería extends along the Mediterranean Sea. Its landscape is completely unspoilt and very unusual: some areas are desert-like while greenhouse crops flourish in others. It is also mountainous, with rocky beaches or dunes, affording a wide range of leisure options to enjoy. Visitors feel a sense of exploration here as many of the coves can only be reached on foot. This area is particularly popular with nature lovers and back-packers.
